We got a new PC!!!

Merry early Christmas to us, Merry early Christmas, to us...

Our new baby:

HP Pavilion Elite Desktop 2.4GHz, 1TB, 24" LCD

Brad & I had been talking about this for quite a while. Our current PC, which I got when I went to college, is 5 years old and just slower than poo sometimes. This is why I DREAD editing videos in Windows Movie Maker, for YouTube. You can hear the thing gurgling and it kinda locks up and you have to wait for it to be quite again, or you really can't do much in WMM. Our old PC didn't even have 1GB RAM, this one has 6GB! Old: 80GB HD, New: 1TB (~1,000GB). Old has 2.8GHz single core, new is 2.4GHz QUAD core! Old: 19" standard LCD, New: 24" widescreen brightview LCD, that rotates! And yea, the new one was half the price of the old one!

So anyways, Brad & I were talking about this, while I was at work, last night. We decided it was almost November and this was by far the best price and what we really wanted. He decided to call and see how many they had left, which was 5. He kinda freaked out and figured we needed to go TODAY and not wait until the weekend. Okay, whatever. He didn't think of this until AFTER I had taken a shower and washed all my make-up off. Gurrr. So, I had to do my hair and re-do my make-up. The store (Sam's Club) was an hour away, so by the time we went there and got it, went to lunch at Ruby Tuesday's and got done setting it up and playing around, I didn't get to bed til after 4p! I was up at 9:30p for work, so I'm a tad tired.
