@Justine: I'm not sure how I ever did makeup with out them... did I really use that sponge tip applicator?! I honestly don't even remember! I do remember having a Revlon brush that was super long and I had to cut the end off of to fit into a makeup bag... but I never got a full set until Clinique came out with theirs... around 2001?
