6.5.09 - A bit of rambling...

Hum, so this entire week, I've worn practically the bare minimum (in my book) for make-up. I've been working ten hour days and just wanting to relax a bit.

This weeks routine (Friday was changed up a bit):
MAC Mineralized SatinFinish Liquid Foundation - NC25
-I apply this with my 190 and blend with a damp BeautyBlender, LOVE IT! I also do my Studio Sculpt the same way (PS> I failed to clean my 190 so I left this out for Friday)
MAC Studio Finish Concealer - NC20
-Just where I needed it
MAC Mineralized SkinFinish/Natural - Medium
-I used my 181
MAC MSF - Petticoat
-Using my 181 again, mostly on apples of cheeks with a bit on the E/3
MAC Penultimate - Rapid Black
-Top most days, with little to no under eyes
MAC Brow Pencil - Lingering
-LOVE this right now, though I wish it was a teeny bit lighter but would Fling be TOO light???
BE Brow Gel
-This is getting nasty, I need a new BG...
Mascara
-Whatever one I grabbed :-)

Sadly Weather Channel is predicting rain... and it's planned to be outside. Some rain is fine, but really, I don't want mud on my dress!

The MAC Friends & Family sale is rumored to be June 10-14... I guess I will be over-nighting some things. :) Might be a good time to pick up some Brow Gel and try Fling. Small order, I promise.

I placed a BeautyChoice.com order... and was hoping it'd arrive this weekend, which it will not, but I pray it's here before I leave on my Honeymoon Sunday the 14th. I ordered a 1" Enzo Milano and a Pink GHD... I called and they said they sent their Enzo's back as the barrels were scratched up and their GHD's were to be in Thursday. I'm not happy so far.

I ordered a swimsuit. :-) I don't know that we'll visit the pool. (Depends on pool traffic.) But it's cute none the less.

Welp, I think that's all I have to ramble about, for now. I hope I can catch up next week. I'm going to dinner with some girlfriends and our mom, Saturday, so maybe I will look super cute and have time for pictures!!! Next Friday is the rehearsal, so I hope to take some pictures then, too. And at least we'll have a pro photog there Saturday to capture the good photos! Hum, I really need to practice those false lashes, too!!!

1.22.09 - Going to Wal-Mart

Brad decided he wanted to run down to Wal-Mart and take the trash. My mom works in the town, and their business has a dumpster, so instead of paying for trash pick-up, we just take it there. :o) He needed some 9V batteries for his new lights, for his RC Truck. Yes, he's putting lights on it *rolls eyes*.

Anyways, I wanted a quick, simple, look, but ended up with this. This was my first time wearing any Dame Edna lippie, and while I just went to Wal-Mart, I like it! A few people seemed to look at me, but didn't see any double takes, or stares, so it couldn't have been that bad! A guy even came up to me, while looking at hair ties, and asked if he could ask me a question. I feel bad now, because, at first, I didn't want to talk to him, but I did say "yes" and kept looking at the hair ties. The reason I was so hesitant, is a while back, while shopping alone (Brad was nearby this time) a guy came up and was talking about some trip he was taking and his class was selling magazines to help pay for it, etc. If I want a magazine, I'll go buy one, sorry dude. Anyways, the guy today asked if you could use eyeliner pencil, on your face. Well sure you can, silly! I didn't say it like that, but then he was asking if they came in different darknesses. Well, as far as Drug Store Eyeliner, I like the CoverGirl one you don't have to sharpen, but it was $5 and change and he needed 5! It was apparently for a 'game' and he had a bunch of shaving cream and other stuff in the cart. So, I found him the $0.93 NYC ones. Unfortunately the darkest they had was Charcoal, no Jet Black, but he figured it would work. Oh, and I didn't find the hair ties I wanted. I wanted big thin dark brown ones, they only had the thick ones. I like the thick ones when I want a pony, but like to keep the thin ones on my wrist for when my hair is down and it starts to bother me. They don't leave as big of a line in my hair, haha.

1.18.09 - Circuit City goes out of business... and a little Bump Bump Bump

So we went shopping today. :o) We really wanted a Blu-Ray player, but ended up with a XBOX 360 Elite. We have been wanting one for a while, b/c ours only has a 20GB HD (Elite has 120GB) and ours is 3 years old and doesn't have a HDMI port. We also got a black wirless controller (so we have 4 total), a 1 year LIVE Memebership (for me), 4000 XBOX Points & Rock Band Drum Pad Silencers. All 10% off! ((Yes, even the LIVE membership & Points.)) I'm a bit sad, though... The controller was $50 and I just saw Wal-Mart has them for $40. We paid $45 with the 10% off, but still. I also just got 2 recharable black batteries on eBay for the controllers... $16/ea. They are $12 on Wal-Mart. D'Oh. Stupid me. OH WELL. Kinda like my DF buying TWO sets of headlights for his RC Truck... yea. Oh, and I wore a little BumpIt!
