It's been a while...
Hi guys!!!
I know it's been a while, so I wanted to hop on here and talk about a few goodies I've got lately. :-)
First off, if you follow me on instagram (lrzuber09), you would have see this:
I purchased these about a month ago. I absolutely LOVE Sigma's brushes. I'd really like to get the Synthetic Essential collection and then I might be set for a while. :-) I was beyond shocked how pigmented the Paris palette is. It's not an every day (at least for me) palette but it's nice for special occasions.
Today I applied Versailles all over my lid/brow bone area, very lightly with E55 the and then used my Sigma E15 to line my bottom and top lash lines with Louvre. It's a simple look using a bold color that won't get TOO noticed. ;-)
The Sigma MAXBag is HUGE!!! It'll be great for my personal travel.
I'll admit, Sigma brushes ARE NOT MAC brushes, however, they have some that are very similar and some that preform the same tasks as some MAC brushes, with great quality and a great price. Some are true duds, but some are pure perfection!
I also purchase the new NARS Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturizer. I was at Sephora and kindly asked the girl which shade she thought I should get. She had me take a seat and swatched Finland and Alaska on me. Alaska would work if I had a LITTLE more color, but Finland blended right in. I'm so sad about that though. That means anyone lighter than me will have to skip this product. :( I really love it. I'm in love with Origins VitaZing (picked up a back up with my NARS) but some days I want a TAD more coverage. The NARS is great at that and then I usually top if off with NARS Loose Powder in Flesh.
Yes, I'm very weird about that stuff.... I like to stick brands together.
I think the next few things on my wishlist will be the MAC Electric Cool Shadows. It's very tempting to get them all, but I know a few of the colors won't get the love they deserve.
I am also dying for the new UrbanDecay Smoky palette and then they just released their Naked Skin Foundation with the Optical Blurring Brush. Eep!!!
I should also mentioned I ordered the 3 Sugarpill Cosmetics palettes with Bulletproof Eyeshadow. I.CAN'T.WAIT!!! So not my normal thing but this shadows I've heard great things about and I've been wanting them for a while.
It's been a really good spring/summer for me. I've had 2 weddings, including 2 trials and 1 lesson. It was a great experience. I was a little nervous for the first wedding, but once I started, it all just fell into place. I was booked to do the bride, her mom and her future sister-in-law's eyes. However, after I started on the bride, her sister wanted her makeup done as well! And then her future sister-in-law wanted her whole face done, and then 2 more bridesmaid's wanted their makeup done! Thankfully I had no plans for the day and easily made them all more beautiful!
The second wedding was a bit less stressful. ;-) I did the bride's makeup and her maid of honor as she rarely wears eye makeup. Beautiful girls to work with. The maid of honor is getting married this October and I think she'll book me then too. Actually her friend's mom's already enquired about it. ;-)
Well, I think that's all I have for today!
Thanks!!!

Teal Eyes Tutorial
Hey guys! Long time, no see! I've been SUPER busy with work, still am, but I enjoy doing tutorials so much, that I decided I'd sit down and film one. I have a particular Harley-Davidson shirt that I love wearing, this time with black capri's, and I just love the colors in it. I've used one of MAC's pigment stacks before (Surf the Ocean), which looks great with it, but sometimes that takes a bit of working with.
In the video I said Aqua was Permanent at PRO, however it looks to have been discontinued since I bought mine. :-( At this time, it is still available in a pot with the Fashion Flower embossing, so pick it up if you like it!
Please let me know how you like this "style" of video, the distance, the angle, the single eye application, etc.

MAC Bloggers' Obsession's Haul
Even thought I was just in St. Louis, Sunday, I ended up placing a MAC order, Tuesday. The MAC store didn't have any Light Plus MSF/N in stock (it was previously named Light Medium), and I REALLY needed that shade. Medium is a bit too pink on me right now, and I swear Light hardly shows up.
I had a couple things in my cart already, the new Prep+Prime Beauty Balm, and the brush promoted with it, the 191. The BB Creme isn't going to be in stores for a week or so, yet, so once I saw the Blogger's Obsession Collection was coming the 21st, I pulled the trigger.
I decided to get Temptalia's Jealousy Wakes, mostly because of her... I just adore her, but it's a really pretty shade, too. I also grabbed Hocus Pocus, purely based on the shade since I had never heard of the blogger that created it. I picked up 2 lip glasses... Evolution Revolution and Sonoran Rain. I do follow those bloggers and the shades just happened to be my favorites of the bunch. I can't wait to try them all.
I also picked up Bottle Green MAC Pro pan shadow. Yep, I love Christine's look she used with it, Juxt & Jealousy Wakes. :o)

Gravatar!!!
Okay, so maybe I was living in the stone age, but I just found out about Gravatar. It stands for globally recognized avatar.
Have you ever left a comment on Temptalia or MakeupGeek? There's no place to log in... yet some people have their own images instead of the flower (on Temptalia) or face (on MakeupGeek). I had ZERO idea how they got their images on there. That is, until a few days ago. I was leaving a comment on SOME website (I don't even remember what one) and it mentioned signing in with WordPress. Well I have a WordPress account (which I need to move my blog over too, but I can't justify paying the self-hosting fees at the moment), so I decided to log in. It took me to the WP site and said something about setting up your avatar, which eventually lead me to Gravatar! It might be a minor thing to some, but I just LOVE avatars. I think you can remember someone based on a picture, easier than a name (sometimes).
So, check it out if you want! I only wish they were supported on Blogger, but not yet anyways.
Now, when visiting the sites, I just have to be sure to put in my email (the same one I signed up for Gravatar with) and voila, there's my image!

St. Louis Haul
My mom, sister-in-law and I went to St. Louis for a Easter girls weekend. We had our makeup done at Nordstroms, at the Laura Mercier Counter. I always feel funny when other people do my makeup, especially since I freelance, myself. Plus, if you're REALLY into makeup, like myself, you usually know how you do things and want them to look. I just had the girl do what she wanted, and did enjoy the look. Hopefully I can re-create it, for you, sometime!
